What's New in SQL Server 2016

Many of our customers have deployed mission-critical applications on SQL Server 2005 (end of support) or SQL Server 2008, while others are trying to understand how cloud fits into their overall data architecture strategy.  With SQL Server 2016, there is tremendous value available in upgrading to the latest version including:

  • Performance gains. Benchmarks show significant gains compared to SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.
  • Additional speed using in-memory technologies for OLTP, data warehousing and analytics.
  • Simpler and easier patching and maintenance with greater online operations.
  • High availability

In this webinar, we will give an overview of SQL 2016, the key feature sets, upgrade strategies, and considerations for the cloud.
