Project Management Foundations I

Course Overview

This PMI approved course uses lectures and exercises to provide core knowledge of the practical application of project definition and planning processes. Concepts, processes and tools taught in this course are focused in the areas of effectively launching a project, defining the project scope, creating the project management plan, and developing a well-organized Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Participants will be introduced to a set of best practices through the course content, and re-enforced through the completion of a "real life" exercise.

Who Should Attend?

The primary goal of this course is to develop more effective and efficient project managers by teaching and re-enforcing a "critical few" set of project management best practices. Therefore this course is appropriate for all levels of project management professionals, other business professionals that perform project management functions/roles, and other business professionals that desire to become a project management professional.
