Business intelligence (BI) relates to information that is valued by businesses for its currency and relevance to business operations. It is expert information, knowledge, and technologies that are necessary in the management of organizational and individual business. Business Intelligence comprises a broad category of applications and technologies used for gathering, providing access to, and analyzing data for the purpose of helping enterprise users make better business decisions.

This seminar introduces concepts that can assist companies in establishing a business intelligence vision and strategy.  Attendees learn about key components of a BI strategy including existing business intelligence capabilities / components, and current organizational objectives and goals.  The seminar also reviews established industry standards and best practices.
