Abstract

Dan Ingalls once wrote, "The purpose of the Smalltalk project is to provide computer support for the creative spirit in everyone." We have been using Smalltalk in our day-to-day work: for quick analysis and exploration, for writing applications and websites. It has quickly become our favorite programming medium. We want to share these things with those we work with - technical and otherwise - and with you. Please join us for a small talk about the system where Extreme Programming was born.

Bios

Benjamin Schroeder is a software engineer at Prologue Research International. He was first introduced to Extreme Programming ideas in 1998.

John Pierce is the Executive Director of Information Services at Prologue Research International. He was first introduced to Extreme Programming ideas in 2001. He was introduced to Smalltalk just this year and is piping mad about it.
