Topic Summary: ITIL from an Agile Perspective

This workshop is an overview of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) from an Agile development perspective.

ITIL is the newly accepted standard for IT Operations just like Agile is the emerging best practice and standard for applications development. As corporations continue to shift their data center operations to the ITIL standard it is becoming increasingly important for development to know and understand how to include the correct aspects of ITIL in their projects.

It is not enough in today's complex IT world to successfully guide your development or integration project through their requirements, development and testing phases. Success now includes a detailed understanding of operational imperatives such as Configuration Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Throughput, Release Management, Help Desk Integration and End User Deployment.
