Topic Summary: Use Cases in an Iterative Lifecycle
Daryl will discuss his experiences with writing use cases in an iterative/incremental lifecycle. How can requirements be done iteratively? Iterative/incremental lifecycles are acknowledged as being more effective than waterfall, but should that include eliciting and documenting requirements, or should requirements be gathered before the iterative work begins? When are use cases appropriate and what other types of requirements are important? This will be a lively discussion, not a lecture, and by the end, you'll have more insight into the "art" of requirements and the iterative lifecycle.
