Forms API
Description
This course illustrates how Adobe products extend intelligent data capture beyond your organization’s walls. Adobe LiveCycle Forms software enables organizations to intelligently capture information to streamline form-driven business processes through automation. This course provides information on how to use the Forms API. It includes information on using the two core interfaces of the Forms API: IFormServer and IOutputContext.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for developers wishing to understand how to create electronic forms-based applications using Adobe’s LiveCycle Forms solution.
Prerequisites
- An understanding of Adobe LiveCycle Designer and form design processes
- Familiarity with J2EE Application Servers
- An understanding of computer programming concepts, XML and the ability to program in Java, an understanding of the Model View Controller Pattern
- Prior experience with a Java IDE
Course Objectives
- Describe the Adobe LiveCycle Forms Product.
- Test the design and performance of a form template using the Forms Installation and Verification sample.
- Describe the process of rendering a form using the Form Server Module APIs.
- Create a web-based application that invokes the Form Server Module to render a form template as HTML or as PDF
- Create a web based application that handles form submissions and accesses form data.
