We are currently looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect/Database Developer to join our growing Data Solutions Practice.   The Senior Data Warehouse Architect/Database Developer handles data warehouse design/development and/or reporting.   This individual will also be responsible for database design, maintenance, troubleshooting, management access control and implementation of recovery plans, monitoring, installation and configuration, administering, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and additional related responsibilities.   The Senior Data

Warehouse Architect/Database Developer will work on a variety of data projects for Fortune 1000 clients located primarily in the Cincinnati and Dayton markets.

Requirements:  

• 5-7 years experience working with Oracle data management, configuration and logical data modeling
• Experience working on decision support and data warehouse applications
• Experience with application interfaces
• Experience in structured SDLC - all phases analysis, design, development, test of reporting applications
• Experience defining business requirements
• Experience in large enterprise IT environments and production support
• Experience with logical data modeling
• Experience performing use case analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience mentoring junior staff

Desired Skills:

• Experience with financial applications
• Experience with brokerage and investment systems
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Experience with Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL)
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with file transfer methods (e.g. FTP)
• Experience with the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and UML
• Experience with tools: ERwin
• Hands on experience with: FIleNET , Crystal Reports, Business Objects or Actuate
• Experience with mainframe systems (DB2/MVS)
