Microsoft ETL Developer

We are currently looking for an ETL Developer to join our growing Data Solutions Practice. The ETL Developer handles data warehouse design/development. Candidates must have leadership experience and the ability to deliver complete data warehousing solutions. Candidates must have experience working with SSIS, DTS and Transact-SQL. Experience with other ETL tools is a plus. The ETL Developer will work on a variety of data projects for Fortune 1000 clients located primarily in the Cincinnati market.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of IT Experience
• 3+ years of Data Warehousing Experience
• 1+ year of ETL Experience with SSIS
• 2+ years of ETL Experience with DTS and Transact-SQL
• Experience with SQL Server 2005
• Experience with file transfer methods (e.g. FTP)
• Experience working in data management, configuration and logical data modeling
• Experience working on decision support applications
• Experience with application interfaces
• Experience defining business requirements
• Experience in large enterprise IT environments and production support
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent SQL Skills
• Experience mentoring junior staff

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Oracle and/or UDB
• Experience with SQL Server 2000
• Experience with financial applications
• Experience with brokerage and investment systems
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with XML
• Experience with modeling tools: ERwin, Visio, Designer
• Hands on experience with: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Cognos, SSRS, SSAS and/or ProClarity
• Experience using Informatica, Datastage or Ab Initio.
