Summary:
In today's ever changing world of software development, teams use a variety of tools to manage change activity. Many will use one tool to manage defects and enhancements, another to manage issues and risks, and yet another to manage changes to documentation. If too many cook's can spoil the broth, then too many tools definitely can spoil a project.

Rational ClearQuest provides project teams with the ability to effectively manage change to all of these areas. One tool can lead to better communication within the team and in turn to the end client. It can facilitate a faster project life cycle as well as ensure that everyone within the team is on the same page and acting as one when it comes to end delivery.

One might ask how can that be? What is Rational ClearQuest? How can I use it? And better yet can I work it into my current environment? About the Speaker:
Oleg Semenov began in IT at the age of 15, not long after his exposure to the Chernobyl fallout. He turned his obsession of telling others what to do into a career in consulting. One of his hobbies has been collecting various certifications from Microsoft, Rational, and IBM. He wore various hats at various times: developer, architect, business analyst, and engineering manager. His recent focus has been helping Cardinal Solutions’ clients with implementing Rational tools and improving their use of best practices.
